Make a moderate pressure so that the drill bit makes the cut, an excessive pressure will overheat the diamond and lose the durability.
It is recommended, for the prolongation of the useful life of the diamond drill bit, a good refrigeration by turning in a vacuum or wetting the diamond zone every 45-60 seconds.
